VALLEY OF THE SHADOW is an intimate memoir about the strength and fortitude of a young couple dealing with the aftermath of severe traumatic injuries.  Newly married, Jed was gravely wounded from an IED in Afghanistan. After an extensive period of hospitalization, his bride Anna became his caregiver.
