Anna’s story has been a great source of inspiration for me! As a Christian wife and mother, I found VALLEY OF THE SHADOW to be a precious reminder of what my true identity is. It is not for comfort, achievements, or even my own happiness. God has given me life to care for, love, and sacrifice for others. Ultimately, our existence serves to bring glory to Christ. Anna’s willingness to so authentically share her genuine emotions and perspective as the wife of an American war hero has put new wind into my sails to propel me even further toward God’s purpose and calling on my life!
